Ayurveda, at its heart, is the living embodiment of intuitive wisdom... every day. 

It is this intuitive approach to life, following the seasons and rhythms of nature, that allows you to unleash your innate power to self heal.

This does NOT come from book knowledge or memorizing lists. It does NOT come from being told what your dosha is or given a standard protocol for healing.

It comes from learning to listen, adapt, and respond to the changing nature of your body and life. 

Therefore, we've designed Everyday Ayurveda: Embodying Intuitive Wholeness as a very practical, experiential training that will teach you the Vedic skills to intuitively respond to life. You will learn time-tested Ayurvedic tools and practices that work, and work quickly, to bring you into balance and harmonize the forces of nature in your life.

The results are refined balance and health on all levels — physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually — and the rewilding of your soul.

Ayurveda is a consciousness-based system of medicine. It is the knowledge (Veda) of life (Ayur) that gives rise to a healthy, happy human that is able to realize his or her full potential. Ayurveda looks at each individual as a unique combination of the forces of nature, and offers specific ways to create balance through lifestyle changes, diet, herbs and spices, right thinking, and emotional freedom.   

Our unique approach to Ayurveda will give you the practical knowledge and skills to shift your consciousness and lifestyle quickly. As you learn to refine your senses and perceive through the lens of intuitive Ayurveda, you will unleash your power to self heal. Through learning to balance yourself, you begin to heal the world.

Principles for Living Ayurveda

Weekly lectures will give you a strong foundation in the essentials of Ayurveda and how to directly apply this wisdom to your everyday life. 

Experiential Practices

Learn to experience life intuitively through your senses, cultivate your inner knowing, and respond intelligently in each moment to create balance and well-being.

Food and Daily Rituals

Learn food and life practices to balance and heal your whole being while honoring your unique constitution and the rhythms, cycles, and seasons of nature.

Weekly Yoga Classes

Embody the wisdom you are learning through integrative yoga practices that weave asana, pranayama, mantra, mudra, and kriya to cleanse and renew.

Meet Your Guides


Laura is the primary teacher for this program. She will guide you in the foundational wisdom of Ayurveda through weekly lectures, experiential practices, food and lifestyle rituals, and support calls.

Laura is a graduate of the Kerala Ayurveda Academy and the American Institute of Vedic Studies. She has also passionately spent decades studying yoga, meditation, Vedanta, Jyotish, herbal medicine, nutrition, health, and healing. Laura is an international educator on the power of the Vedic sciences to promote radical health and sacred, sumptuous living.

Formerly the general manager of the Discovery Channel Europe, Laura is now the founder and director of VedaWise where she offers clinical services in natural medicine for whole-person wellness and health practitioner trainings in the Vedic sciences. She offers classes and consultations in Ayurveda, Jyotish, yoga therapy, and whole-food cooking and nutrition while also serving as a contributing Ayurvedic educator at the UCSD Center for Integrative Medicine. Laura writes for Spirituality & Health Magazine and is an ambassador for Banyan Botanicals.

Laura’s blog,, is an inspirational, free resource for Ayurvedic recipes and wise living. Her popular whole-food, plant-based, seasonal cleanses are powerful, effective, and deliciously nourishing. Her articles on health and wellness have been published in Huffington Post, Ayurveda Next Door, Spirituality & Health, Well + Good, Yoga Digest, and the Times of India, among other national and international media. She is the author of the best-selling book, Ayurveda Cooking For Beginners.

Dayna Seraye

Dayna will be teaching the weekly yoga classes for this program.

Dayna  is the co-founder and director of Hanuman Academy and Hanuman Adventures. She is devoted to bringing the transformative teachings of yoga to our global community and has led sacred pilgrimages, yoga workshops and trainings, and healing ceremony for 17 years. Dayna is an ordained priestess and her extensive training in yoga and the healing arts includes somatic psychotherapy, indigenous wisdom, energy medicine, integrative nutrition, and health coaching.  She integrates these methods into her teaching and private healing/coaching work with individuals.

Dayna is, first and foremost, a student and returns to India on a regular basis to study with Anand Mehrotra and other master teachers.  She bridges her understandings of East and West, offering heart-centered journeys of embodied healing and transformation. She is known for intuitively and intelligently weaving diverse yogic techniques, including asana, kriya, pranayama, meditation, mantra, and earth-based wisdom, into her teaching. She presents at festivals and conferences internationally and can be found online at and Dayna is passionate about supporting others to transcend limitations and embody the health, happiness, and soul fulfillment they desire.
