R.R. Shakti, Ph.D.
Founding teacher of Inner Power Yoga®, Shakti is a Contemplative Mythologist, ritual facilitator, and writer who presents a Tantrik approach to personal empowerment and social action. Through contemplative story-telling and mind/body practices, she offers a vision of deep peace and radical freedom. Weaving World Mythology with Yoga Psychology, Shakti guides you home to your deepest wisdom.
Shakti is a Mythologist—a dynamic story teller and teacher's teacher. She holds a PhD in Mythology and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. Shakti infuses esoteric teachings with real-life meaning to create ritual that is both mystical and practical.
Shakti is a Yoga Teacher—with the foundations of her approach to Yoga, Shambhala, and Psychology stemming from her undergraduate education at Naropa University. Her teachings call for radical authenticity and practical human engagement for an embodied experience of awakening to one's inner power.
Shakti is a Wellness Facilitator—a certified Yoga Therapist, licensed Massage Therapist, and Ayurvedic Consultant. Shakti has studied holistic approaches to wellness for 20 years.
